YOUR SAFETY HELMET

Safety Helmets are used when there’s a possible danger for head injuries at the workplace by falling and flying objects or chemical substances. Which is why it’s important to follow these tips for wearing MSA Safety Helmets:

1. Replace your helmet every 5 years and the inner liner every 12 months.
2. Extreme temperatures, chemical exposure, sunlight and normal daily usage can shorten the lifespan.
3. Frequently check your safety helmet and the inner liner for damage
4. If damaged replace your safety helmet immediately
5. Production Date

Production date
1. The production date on the MSA helmet states when the helmet was made
2. The lifespan of the MSA helmet starts after first use
3. It’s recommended to place a sticker with the start date on the helmet.
